• The quality of the data is not sufficient to help those involved in RIS3 to acquire the knowledge they need about available infrastructures. We need a clearer classification of those infrastructures;
• We would suggest a more open approach in which users are invited to upload data showing their presence as an infrastructure. To help this process happen, data can be captured by using an online standardised template. To support this uploading of data, we can think about organising a “Registration Day” or other similar open events supported by the use of social media platforms like LinkedIn and ResearchGate. This “Wikipedia” approach can solve the problem generated by the limited number of organisations mapped by Merril;
• Have you considered using 7FP and H2020 data for mapping the infrastructures? This data is open and it can be probably already structured in a way that can be processed without any additional modifications.
